Beijing, Sept. 7 (XinhuaXia Qing, deputy director of the International Cooperation Department of the National Development and Reform Commission, said on the 7th,As of September 6,China has signed memorandums of understanding on Belt and Road cooperation with 37 African countries and the African Union,The signatories account for 70 percent of the 53 countries attending the Beijing Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation。 During the Beijing Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation, China signed Mous with 28 countries and the African Union, and Mous with the remaining nine countries were signed before the summit, Xia said。 So far, China has signed 123 Belt and Road cooperation documents with 105 countries, covering countries in Asia, Africa, Europe, Latin America and the South Pacific region。At the same time, China has signed 26 cooperation documents with 29 international organizations。 Xia Qing said that the next step will be close communication with relevant African countries, promote the negotiation and signing of the "Belt and Road" cooperation documents with more countries, and strive to achieve full coverage on the African continent。At the same time, in accordance with the steps of "signing memorandums of understanding - formulating cooperation plans - carrying out specific cooperation", we will steadily advance various cooperation and strive to achieve practical results as soon as possible, so that the achievements of the "Belt and Road" construction will benefit African countries and people。 |
